Use Grade Hunter inside your AI assistant

Connect a compatible assistant to Grade Hunter's agent server. You sign in with your Grade Hunter account and approve access before any tool runs.

This agent server is protected by sign-in, not open. The first time you connect, you sign in to your Grade Hunter account and approve the connection on a consent screen. Market tools then read cards, sets, opportunities, comparisons and the methodology; account tools can read your saved scans and read, add to and remove from your watchlist on your behalf. Market values are reported in AUD, converted from the same USD source figures, with the assumptions in our methodology. If you only want anonymous read-only data with no sign-in, use the public JSON API instead.

Assistant apps change their menus often, so the steps below are a guide rather than an exact script. Any client that supports a custom remote agent (MCP) server with OAuth sign-in can use the URL above.

Connect your assistant

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If it's unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the new connector dialog.
  3. Paste “Grade Hunter” as the name and the server URL above.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue”, then click Create.
  5. Enable Grade Hunter from the chat composer and ask it for today's best cards to grade.

Claude

  1. Open the pre-filled custom connector dialog.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the pre-filled form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it Grade Hunter and paste the server URL above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude about a card.

Claude Code

  1. Run this in a terminal:claude mcp add --scope user --transport http grade-hunter 'https://mhuoryltvvgzemskybmg.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp'
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Grade Hunter is connected.
  3. Ask Claude Code for the highest ROI cards under $100.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it Grade Hunter and paste the server URL above.
  4. Complete any authorisation prompts, enable it, then ask the assistant to use Grade Hunter.

Refresh after we ship updates

ChatGPT

  1. Open the Plugins page and select Grade Hunter.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can't change an existing URL — if the URL changed, delete and re-add the connector.
  4. Start a new chat and ask it to use Grade Hunter.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select Grade Hunter.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, remove the connector and add it again with the latest URL.
  4. Ask Claude to use Grade Hunter.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools on connect.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove grade-hunter and run the install command again.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the client's MCP server settings and select the Grade Hunter connection.
  2. Refresh the tool list, reload the server or reconnect it.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use Grade Hunter.
